Services
Speech and Language
The emphasis of the Speech/Language program at The Norman Howard School is the link between communication skills and academic success. Speech-language services are provided in a collaborative framework between the speech pathologist and classroom teachers, parents, and other related services. Speech-language goals are interrelated with the goals of the classroom and academic curriculum is the "content" of therapy. The Norman Howard School has two American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech-Language Pathologists who work with every student, not just those students identified with language learning disabilities.
