Jason Cromey is a 2014 graduate of The Norman Howard School. Today, he's excelling in college and blazing a path toward his dream career in Fire and Emergency Services...
Jason comes from a family of fire service professionals, he calls it a "family tradition." While he completes his degree in Fire Protection Technology at Monroe Community College, he's serving as a firefighter in North Greece and working at Wegmans.
A Hilton native, what Jason appreciated most about his Norman Howard experience is that he "got to see and meet so many people from all walks of life." To him, the "close-knit community" is what makes Norman Howard special and Jason continues to stay in touch with former classmates.
As he prepares for his college graduation in December 2017, Jason's advice for other students looking to life after high school, is "never stop learning...just because you graduate doesn't mean learning is over."
Focused on getting up every day and enjoying it, Jason is making plans to move out of Rochester and "out of his comfort zone," something he says he has been wanting to do for a while.
Jason will be returning to The Norman Howard School this Spring to speak with students about transitioning from high school to college and career.
