Teaching Reading is my passion and I’m excited to get back into doing what I love to do. I want to make a difference in the lives of the students by engaging them in reading and helping them to grow as a reader as well as develop confidence with their skills.

My name is Beth Lax. I taught in the public schools in many roles which include special ed teacher, classroom teacher and literacy specialist. I live in Fairport. I have two sons ages 18 and 15. I am looking forward to getting back into teaching full time as a reading teacher after taking some time off to be with
my kids . My hobbies are scrapbooking, tennis, and gardening.
